- AvaCollabra Spring Workshop May 21 2025 - Validation (recording): Best practices for model validation, including data requirements, spatial scale challenges, and research versus operational applications. The goal is to compile ideas for a best practice publication.
- AvaCollabra Spring Workshop May 22 2025 - Wind slabs (recording): A known issue with operational snowpack models is forecasting wind slab problems. We will start with forecasters presenting challenges where modeling could help, followed by model experts discussing how wind transport is currently handled in models. We hope this discussion will reveal possible ways to tackle this challenge.
